Show: Alberta: Jewel of the West

In Celebration of Alberta's Centennial, the Bishop Grandin Marching Ghosts present, Alberta: Jewel of the West. With music composed by our band director, Mr. Elmer Riegel, the show portrays the diverse and inspiring landscapes of our beautiful provinces. Beginning in the mountain peaks of the Canadian Rockies and moving through raging rivers onto the rolling plains, the show travels across the province. "Alberta: Jewel of the West" was awarded a Gold Award and 2nd place overall at the 2005 Calgary Stampede Competition for Marching Show Bands.
