Bishop Grandin went with a distinctly religious theme for their 2000 production. John Rutter's Gloria! - originally a cantata for choir and brass ensemble - was craft fully arranged by Mr. Elmer Riegel. The haunting second movement featured an organ and vocal duet - a first for the field in Calgary. "Gloria!" was awarded a gold prize at the 2000 World Association of Marching Show Bands held during the Calgary Stampede. Bishop Grandin also won Best Overall Band in the 2000 Calgary Stampede Parade!
