Fiddler on the Roof
1995 marked a major change in the history of the Bishop Grandin marching band. For the first time ever, the band produced a field show centered around a single theme. For years, the Ghosts had put out entertaining "half time" type performances but "Fiddler on the Roof" took the band in a whole new direction. The band performed at the Seattle Heritage Festival and received rave reviews. New uniforms were designed and ordered for the 1995-96 season - the 10th anniversary of the Marching Ghosts - and the band took on the challenge of producing a unique, themed show each summer thereafter.
